Let's get back face to face ~ happy and safe

Your health and wellbeing is my priority and I know that you might have lots of questions before coming back to the mat in a face to face environment, hopefully you can find the answer to your question here, if not or you want to chat anything through with me prior to booking on to a class then feel free to drop me an email or give me a call.

Do I need to book and pay for my space?

Yes. All classes follow social distancing procedures and spaces are limited.

Pre-payment is also required to secure your space. Due to the limited class numbers all bookings are non refundable and non transferrable unless you need to cancel due to developing COVID-19 related symptoms. Life does throw us curve balls at times, so if you have booked a space and need to cancel for genuine reason please do so prior to 48 hours, transfers and refunds may be offer at my discretion. 

How do I know if I have got a space in class?

At the moment, I am not using an electronic booking system, it's all done by me working behind the scenes.  So, please be patient, book onto the class via the online booking page and wait to receive a notification from me that you have got a space and details of how to pre-pay. When I can, I will update on the booking page if the class becomes fully booked. 

Do I need to book my space weekly?

Indeed you do.  However, if you would like to be added to the weekly register of a class to save you booking each week then please email me and I can do this (space permitting). Remember though, spaces are limited, so if you are not sure if you will be able to make the class it's probably best to book weekly.

When should I not come to class?

If you have not received a confirmation that you are on the class register, please do not just turn up.  

If you have tested positive for COVID-19, or suspect you have COVID-19, if you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or you have any symptoms of cough, fever, high temperature, sore throat, runny nose, breathlessness or any other symptoms relating to COVID-19, generally feel unwell on the day of class or 14 days prior to the class please let me know and do not attend the class.  I would also ask that should you be tested positive for COVID-19 14 days after the class that you contact me as soon as you are able to.

What do I need to bring to class? 

Yourself, dressed and ready for yoga, wear layers! Please wear a face mask to enter and exit the building.  Face masks do not have to be worn once you are on your mat. 

Your own clean yoga mat and clean props no mats will be available to borrow. If you would like to buy a yoga mat or props from me then get in touch, none of my mats or props have been used since March and I will happily sell them to you at a discounted price.  My mats and yoga belts (straps) can be washed and blocks can be sanitised.

Please limit the amount of personal items you bring to class, of course blankets, eye pillows, warm layers are all fine.

What should I do when I arrive to class?

Please do not try to enter the building 15 minutes prior to class.  Please adhere to social distancing in car parks, best to wait in your car if you are early. Please wear a face mask to enter and exit the building, face masks do not have to be worn on your yoga mat. When arriving for class a marker will clearly indicate where to place your mat. Please wash or sanitise your hands before class and afterwards.  Shoes will be removed and socks can be warn to walk to your mat marker, feel free to take a wipe to wipe your feet if you are not wearing socks or would like to do so anyway. 

The class I usually attend is not back face to face, why?

The size of the venue I use is limiting some classes going back face to face, rest assured as soon as I can, I will be back with you, but at the same time I want to keep an online offering in place so everyone can practice their yoga the way they feel happy to

Why has the class I usually come to changed day and time?

If your class has changed day and time it is because I cannot teach back to back at the moment without giving at least half an hour for the room to air once the previous classes has left.  I would have to clean the space fully within this time, this would mean your class would not start until at least 45 minutes later than what it originally did. 

What can I expect from the class?

A warm welcome, likeminded souls and heaps of yogi energy - we will all be happy to be back!  Please stay on your mat during the practice, no hands on assists or lion breaths though, but lots of love and kindness.

Will we ever go back to normal? 

What is normal? In an ever changing world, don't worry about the things you can't change, try to embrace any change, smile, keep practicing your yoga and most of all, be kind.  My aim is to provide a class to suit you, whether it be online or face to face.
